Pros: The dwell time on the paddle is extraordinary. Shots that would have glanced off the edge on previous paddles go right over the net in a wicked way. The paddle makes you feel in control even when you're being attacked. It's almost like it's a secret weapon. The first four times I've used it I honestly thought I needed to apologize for amazing shots that I swear were the paddle's doing and not mine. I'm a borderline 4.0 player but in the Legends age group according to the U.S. Senior Pickleball Association and yet I play with guys in their 20s who are 4.0 plus. This paddle allows me to keep up.

Cons: Even though the weight of this paddle is identical to the Selkirk Era that I was using and the JOOLA before that, my forearm and upper arm are somewhat tired and sore after the first week playing with this paddle. There must be a difference in the weight distribution but I am more than willing to hang in there with it. If I go back to doing the tournaments I used to, I guess I'll have to switch to the Coral instead of the Coral Pro since this one doesn't qualify which is a downside but for rec play it's heaven on earth.
