The Ultimate Guide to PickleCon 2024

What is PickleCon? 

PickleCon is an event an event brought to you by Triple Crown Sports, and has been called “the ultimate pickleball experience.” In short, it's expected to be one of the biggest pickleball tournaments of the year, with over 100 pickleball courts, thousands of pickleball players, and and even more spectators throughout the week. With over 80 local and national vendors, it's shaping up to be the ultimate pickleball experience both on and off the courts.

Who can play at PickleCon? 

Me, you, anyone, and everyone! PickleCon is open to anyone who wants to be a part of a massive pickleball event. The tournament will run from August 8-11, 2024 and there are a wide range of divisions from Men’s and Mixed Doubles to Youth and even Wheelchair Adaptive divisions. If you are a pickleball player, you have a place to play at PickleCon.

What should I do while I’m in Kansas City? 

First things first - if you are new to the area, it’s important to note that this event will take place in Kansas City, MISSOURI (not Kansas City, KANSAS). Since KC is the hometown of JustPaddles, we wanted to highlight a few recommendations for your time in the City of Fountains:

• If you’re a fan of America’s pastime, the Kansas City Royals are in town Friday through Sunday taking on their Missouri rivals, the St. Louis Cardinals. The KC Monarchs are also playing at home and their game combines modern-day athletes with a lot of baseball history. These two options never disappoint!

Where can I stay?

There are plenty of places to stay in Kansas City, but with the PPA Tour event happening concurrently and an MLP tournament just wrapping up, there will be a lot of pickleballers floating around the city.
