About the Brand
A message from the owner, Will " After playing competitive tennis for most of my life, I caught the pickleball bug in 2022 and have been addicted ever since. As I transitioned to this new sport, I tested out dozens of paddles, searching for the perfect high-performance paddle that would complement my tennis background. I never found one that got everything just right. As I played more and more, my skills greatly improved but my equipment did not. I decided to stop looking for the perfect paddle and start building one instead.
The ACE company began in earnest when I reached out to my long-time work colleague and equally pickleball-obsessed friend Brian McDonaugh to start the R + D process. Brian is an industry vet in product design and branding. Combined with my extensive playing experience, we set out to design and manufacture a paddle for players seeking an advantage on the court — an ace up their sleeve.
