Gamma Hellbender 7.65 ounces Buffalo Intermediate

Pros: I'm around a 4.0 player and this paddle is a good choice between power and control. It is like no other paddle I have owned and I have owned nearly every brand. I'm still getting used to it but so far so good. Control Angle Shots

Cons: I have missed hit several shots on the edges of the paddle. but it is not as wide as I'm used to playing with in the past. Still trying to get the overhead shots to pop. I have to spin the overheads for the power seems to be lacking. Spin is not great but control is there. Spin Overhead Power

Pros: Paddle was "Like New" a small blemish the size of a pin head was the only defect found. Excellent paddle weight at 7.6 ounces. A very well balanced paddle considering it somewhat elongated shape. A good control paddle. Sweet spot was comparable to other standard shaped paddles and superior to most elongated paddles.

Cons: Lacks substantial power. Power and stability was increased by adding lead to sides bringing paddle weight to 7.8 ounces. Grip is square and only 4.5 inches in length. So some may find it uncomfortable or to short.

Pros: lightweight with a large sweet spot. good spin on my forehand rolls. Very nice for third shot drops. Great for dinking. I'm a one-handed players that likes to swap hands in midpoint sometimes and the handle fits my game well. unable to leave durability blank since that would take some time to determine, so 3 stars.

Cons: None really. Some reviews mention lightweight equating to less power but it's more about the quickness of the paddle to both generate power and also to immediately react to defend so with a small amount of lead tape this paddle is lethal in the hands of a 4.0+ I also have no issues generating return power or some third shot drives with pop. The "blemish" is a small nick on the face on one side. Does not affect playability at all.
