Highest Exit Velocity Pickleball Paddles - Paddle Lab

PADDLE LABs Highest Exit Velocity Paddles of 2026 are displayed, featuring various pickleball paddle brands.

Looking for more pop in your game? There's something satisfying about hitting a ball that jumps off a paddle face with serious pace. But when it comes to finding pickleball paddles with real power, you need actual data that goes beyond marketing hype.

Thanks to the Paddle Lab at JustPaddles, we've tested hundreds of paddles to measure exit velocity (the speed at which the ball leaves the paddle after contact). These numbers don't lie, and they give you a clear picture of which paddles deliver the most power potential.

Want to see how we test? Check out Pickleball Pursuit's breakdown of our Exit Velocity testing below!

What Is Exit Velocity in Pickleball Paddles?

Exit velocity is the speed at which the ball leaves your paddle after contact.

Higher exit velocities mean more power potential in your shots, while lower exit velocities typically indicate more control. This number tells you whether a paddle is geared toward power or precise shot placement.

How We Test Exit Velocity

Our Paddle Lab uses accurate testing equipment to measure exit velocity under controlled conditions. We fire a ball at each paddle at a consistent speed and angle, then measure how fast the ball comes off the face.

And we don't just look at one maximum shot. We calculate the average of the top 25% of shots, which we call Peak Exit Velocity Average. This approach filters out anomalies and shows you the paddle's true, repeatable power potential under realistic playing conditions.

This testing method gives you a fairer representation of the performance you can expect from your paddle. For more information about our Paddle Lab testing, check out this blog

Why Exit Velocity Is Just One Piece

Before we dive into the list, let's be clear: exit velocity alone doesn't tell the whole story about a paddle's power. Other factors like swing weight, balance point, core construction, and your own playing mechanics all impact how powerful a paddle feels and performs. That being said, if you’re looking for a power paddle to take your game to the next level, this list is a good place to start.

The Top Exit Velocity Paddles

Based on our Paddle Lab testing, these paddles are currently delivering the highest exit velocity measurements. This list evolves as we test new releases, so check back regularly for updates!

1. Holbrook Fuze Elongated 16mm Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle

Why it's powerful: A patent-pending Dual Density Foam Core strategically places high-density foam in the upper portion for explosive put-away power, while lower-density foam in the center maximizes forgiveness. The Carbon-Aramid-Carbon (CAC) Face combines the stiffness of carbon with the strength of Aramid for a high-octane energy return, supported by a Textured Peel-Ply surface that increases dwell time for precision, spin-heavy drives.

Best for: Intermediate to professional all-court players who want the reach of an elongated paddle without the "pingy" feel of thinner cores. Its 16mm chassis and Dynamic Weight Technology provide a massive sweet spot and elite stability, making it perfect for aggressive players who need a plush, controlled feel for resets and dinks before speeding up the point.

2. Six Zero Black Opal 14mm Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle

Why it's powerful: A proprietary G4 Aerospace Solid Foam Core combined with a patent-pending Power Gel layer creates a "floating" internal construction that maximizes energy return and explosive pop. The Carbon Lite frame provides the structural stiffness needed for heavy ball speed, while the Diamond Tough infused surface produces elite levels of spin (up to 2,000+ RPMs) to keep high-velocity drives within the lines.

Best for: Aggressive intermediate to advanced players who want the lightning-fast hand speed of a 14mm paddle without sacrificing the "plush" feel and stability of a 16mm. Its Shock Shield silicone-injected handle and high Twist Weight offer a stable, vibration-free experience for players who dominate the court with power and precision.

3. CRBN⁴ TruFoam Barrage Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle

Why it's powerful: Built on a Gen-4 TruFoam™ foundation, the Barrage features a 100% "floating" foam core with internal void cutouts and an EVA perimeter ring for maximum reactive pop and energy return. The T700 Raw Carbon Fiber Face is engineered with a proprietary layup to maximize stiffness and ball speed, while the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Edges create a high-octane energy engine that delivers explosive put-away power and elite spin without the need for a break-in period.

Best for: Aggressive all-court players and power-hitters who want a lightning-fast 14mm paddle for hand battles and speed-ups. The AeroCurve design and high Twist Weight provide exceptional stability and aerodynamic speed, making it the ideal choice for pros and advanced players who want to dominate with high-velocity counters and precise, spin-heavy drives.

4.Selkirk LABS Boomstik Elongated Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle

Why it's powerful: BoomCore Technology featuring a PureFoam core encased in an EVA Power Ring delivers explosive energy on every shot. The Multistrata T700 Carbon Face provides ideal stiffness for powerful energy return, while InfiniGrit surface produces up to 2,000 RPMs for spin-heavy power shots.

Best for: Intermediate to pro players looking to push their power game to the limit. The MOI Tuning System adds perimeter weighting for stability on hard hits without needing lead tape.

GatorStrike A.R.M.O.R GEN 5x Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle

Why it's powerful: A revolutionary TriFextra™ All-Foam Core integrates three distinct layers of EPP, EVA, and PVA foams to deliver an unmatched, explosive "trampoline effect" on every drive. The Raw Carbon Fiber Grit Surface with unique 3D embossed logos provides maximum friction for elite spin potential, while the ultra-stiff Gen-5 Carbon Fiber construction ensures high-velocity exit speeds that catch opponents off guard.

Best for: Competitive power players and counterpunchers who want a "hot" paddle that punches well above its weight class. Its High-Stability design and low-vibration internal structure provide the forgiveness needed to manage its massive energy output, making it the ultimate tool for players looking to dominate with heavy serves and aggressive hand battles.

Finding Your Power Paddle

Exit velocity data gives you insight into which paddles deliver the most ball speed, but the right choice depends on your personal playing style and preferences. A paddle with the highest exit velocity might not be the best fit if its weight distribution or balance doesn't match how you play.

Use these numbers as a starting point, then consider how the paddle's other characteristics match your game. And remember, power comes from the combination of equipment and technique. Even the most explosive paddle needs proper mechanics behind it.

The List Is Always Changing

Paddle Lab is always testing out new releases, so this list evolves as new paddles hit the market. This is because we want to provide you with real, transparent information to help you make the best paddle purchase decisions.

New paddles are added to our testing regularly, so check back often to see the latest results and how new releases stack up against current leaders.
