It has high impact resistance and is durable (abrasion resistant), meaning the paddle surface should last a long time and be more resistant to wear than existing carbon fiber-faced paddles.

At first glance, the Ruby may look like a red carbon fiber paddle, but it's much more!  At an 8.2-ounce average weight, the Ruby brings all-over court performance with added durability. Providing an extra level of grab and feel, the Six Zero Ruby is the new Gem of pickleball paddles!

The Ruby checks all the boxes for an advanced player! A slightly elongated shape at 16.3'' will give a balance of reach and a large sweet spot. The long handle offers extended reach and enhanced leverage for players who prefer a more extended grip. This design choice provides added versatility, allowing players to execute a variety of shots with ease and finesse.

Paddle Expert’s Thoughts on Six Zero Ruby

When you first pick up the Ruby, you can tell that there is something special about the new paddle from Six Zero. Six Zero is the first to present a paddle with a 100% Kevlar® face and their dedication to research and development is evident! Paired with the Six Zero 3D Carbon Forged Elongated Handle, the Ruby is one of the most stable and consistent playing paddles on the market. Although listed as a middleweight, the Ruby is easy to move and provides quick reactions at the kitchen line in a firefight. We did notice that, depending on play style, some may see red cloth fibers on the face of the paddle. Please be advised that this is normal for 100% Kevlar texture and does not impact the performance or playability of the paddle. 

EXPERT TIP: When cleaning your Six Zero Ruby we recommend avoiding using rubber erasers which are common for cleaning carbon fiber paddles.
