Diadem Hush Quiet Pickleball Paddle

Calling all pickleball enthusiasts seeking a quieter playing experience! The Diadem Hush Quiet Pickleball Paddle is meticulously crafted to minimize noise on the court, allowing you to focus on your game without disrupting fellow players.

Paddle Benefits:

The Diadem Hush achieves its noise reduction through a combination of innovative materials and design choices.  Known for its lightweight and responsive performance. This material naturally absorbs some of the impact sound, contributing to a quieter overall experience. Additionally, the paddle boasts a core thickness of 18 mm. While not the thickest core on the market, it offers a good balance between noise reduction and powerful shot-making capability.

The elongated paddle shape,  provides a larger sweet spot for consistent control and power on every swing. This larger sweet spot also helps to reduce mishits, which can contribute to unwanted noise.

For players seeking a comfortable and secure grip, the Diadem Hush features a standard-sized grip measuring 4 1/8 inches. The long handle, offers additional two-handed control for players who prefer a more defensive style of play.

If you’re a spinner - this paddle is for you. Bruce Intermediate

Pros: Control. Power. Dinking. Third shot drops. Drives. Accuracy. And - oh yes - at 2700 RPM, this paddle cuts, slices, top spins , kicks and makes the ball dance like you’ve never seen before. People will be walking off the courts shaking their heads in disbelief.

Cons: Depending how often you play - I play 2 - 3 hrs / day - six days a week - the paddle face lasts 3 - 4 months for me. For people playing 3 days / wk - probably 5 - 6 months.

Silent but deadly David Intermediate

Pros: The paddle is very quiet and deceptive in the pace you are putting on the ball. Balls tend to pop off the paddle. Nice to use if your tired or injured because it does not require big movements.

Cons: Less control and balls can pop up a bit.

The Diadem Hush Quiet Pickleball Paddle is a balanced type paddle with a weight of 8.15 ounces.

What does not sanctioned for tournament play mean? I haven’t played in any tournaments so far (playing for less than 2 years) is this a big deal? Tom
The Diadem Hush Quiet Pickleball Paddle does not feature the USAP or UPA-A markings. These would be the two needed for tournament play. Since the paddle lacks either of these it could not be used in sanctioned tournaments.

About the Brand

Diadem was founded in 2015 with a single goal in mind - to develop the most innovative, high-quality tennis products in the world to help players maximize their performance. They found that the tennis industry had become stagnant, with very few brands that were challenging the status quo. With a team made up of former collegiate and professional players and coaches, Diadem set out to develop new and exciting products that catered to players of all levels looking to elevate their game. In 2019 they decided to change the game again by taking their strategy and engineering into Pickleball. As their team moved from playing tennis every day to playing Pickleball they realized the growth in this new sport was here to stay.   
 
As the last American racket sports brand, all of their products are designed and developed in their global headquarters located in the heart of the hottest tennis market in the country - Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Their extensive research and rigorous testing process ensure that every product developed meet superior levels of quality. Through their combined 100+ years of experience as tennis players pickleball players and coaches, they have identified challenges in the industry where tennis equipment has failed its players and developed the solutions to overcome those challenges.

Their flagship paddle, the Icon, is truly innovative with a surface that will provide more spin than any paddle currently USAPA approved. Their R&D team is currently working on two more paddles and an entire line to accompany them.
