What Our Paddle Lab
Experts Say
The Diadem Vice Middleweight Carbon Fiber Paddle was engineered to test the limits of power in pickleball paddle design, and it shows. Delivering a peak exit velocity of 48.31 MPH, this paddle produces one of the highest exit speeds ever recorded, giving players unmatched explosive power and a lively, responsive feel on contact. Its consistency rating of 3.71 standard deviation ensures dependable performance across the paddle face, providing confidence and repeatability for players who can harness its incredible pace. The balance point of 9.33 inches offers a stable mix between head and handle weighting, helping maintain control through quick volleys and high-speed exchanges. A twist weight of 25.6 oz·in² contributes to solid stability on off-center hits, keeping the paddle face square and minimizing deflection under pressure. With a spin rate of 933.2 RPM, players can still shape shots and generate controlled spin, while the swing weight of 882.86 oz·in² delivers a balanced response between power and maneuverability. Designed for players seeking to test the limits of pickleball paddles, the Diadem Vice stands as a benchmark for high-performance engineering—pushing the upper limits of what’s possible in pickleball paddle speed. Paddle Benefits
The ultimate performance pickleball paddle! The Diadem Vice Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle introduces the use of EVA foam as a core material giving the user the ultimate feel combined with power and control. Players no longer have to sacrifice power for control or spin for touch, a power and touch paddle in one. The EVA foam also provides a unique, dampened sound that players will enjoy. Additionally, those players with arm issues who are avoiding stiff paddles will benefit from the softest paddle on the market. A RP2 Grit Coating on High grade Carbon Fiber gives players ultimate grip on the ball making forehand finishes to soft dinks feel seamless. At 16 3/10'' the Diadem Vice Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle is a slightly elongated paddle suitable for all players looking to take their game to the next level. The Diadem Vice Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle is NOT APPROVED FOR USAP play and is a look into the future of pickleball paddles.

Hope this paddle becomes legal Patrick Intermediate
Pros: Sweet spot is huge! Very little sound created when hitting the ball. The core dampens vibration & makes dinking a breeze. Regarding durability I have only played with the paddle a few times since purchase.
Cons: Can't play with paddle in touney.
Helps my shoulder! Carol Frazier Intermediate
Pros: I love the power this paddle has, the quiet, deceiving sound and the fact that my shoulder issue (upper arm) has gone away completely! I have been using this paddle for about 8 months and liked it so much, I ordered a back up one.
Cons: The face of the paddle has discolored quickly.
Good performance; low quality Basil H Intermediate
Pros: Light weight, nice spin, good grip
Cons: After 2 uses, color is peeling off paddle face and looks like an old paddle already.
Great all around paddle Gray Intermediate
Pros: Quiet. Everyone comments on the sound. It's almost deceptive. My serve sound like nothing but then there's the ball deep in the court. I'm a bit over a 3.0 and have only tried 3 paddles but this is my favorite so far. I feel it's improved my game. I bought it because its supposed to help with tendonitis which hasn't happened so far. But hopefully will down the road. I don't know if it give me anymore power but its helped with accuracy.
Cons: None so far.
