What Our Paddle Lab
Experts Say
The Gearbox Pro Control Elongated Middleweight Carbon Fiber Paddle delivers an exceptional peak exit velocity of 44.82 MPH, producing some of the most explosive power available in its class. This remarkable speed gives players a crisp, energetic response on contact—ideal for those who thrive on driving the ball with authority. Its consistency rating of 3.19 standard deviation ensures dependable performance across the paddle face, promoting repeatable, confident strokes. The balance point of 9.93 inches pushes weight slightly toward the head, while the high swing weight of 977.7 oz·in² gives the paddle a heavier, more powerful swing profile that generates tremendous momentum through impact. A twist weight of 23.68 oz·in² contributes to solid stability on off-center hits, keeping the paddle face square and reducing deflection under pressure. With a spin rate of 942.18 RPM, players can still apply shape and controlled spin when needed. Altogether, the Pro Control Elongated 16mm is built for power players who can handle a heavier swing—offering elite-level exit speed and stability for dominating drives and putaways.
