The Ascend shape is designed especially for players coming from tennis or racquetball backgrounds who prefer an aerodynamic paddle with rapid movement and manipulation for adding more spin. Players who like to use a two-handed backhand will appreciate the extra handle length. It is also ideal as a singles paddle where power and speed are crucial. The Ascend LX is made with our new TMPR Luxe Core for added control and finesse. Honeycomb polymer core with a fiberglass face.
Warranty
TMPR is generous enough to offer a 1-year Limited Manufacturer's warranty on this paddle. This warranty is for workmanship and manufacturer defects. If you get this paddle and experience any structural or performance trouble on it within a year from the purchase date, be sure and let the Paddle Experts at JustPaddles know your experience. About the Brand
TMPR Sports (pronounced Temper) was founded in January of 2018 by Doug and Diana Clark. Soon afterward they were joined by their son, Taylor Clark, a graphic designer and composer who has worked with major brands like Ford and Microsoft. Doug had a varied career before forming TMPR Sports — writing and producing jingles for radio and TV advertising and filming and producing TV commercials and documentaries.
That led to starting a new paddle brand. "I had a lot of ideas for new paddles and believed there was room in the market for a different kind of paddle company. While other companies focused on a variety of various polymer cores we began to analyze how the shape of a paddle can dramatically affect its performance. After numerous prototype paddles were made and tested by several tennis pros we settled on our first shape which we named the Tantrum series." says Clark.
TMPR Sports is a Michigan-based paddle company focused on developing new pickleball paddle designs with innovative shapes and improved paddle performance.
