About Joey

Joey Farias is a veteran professional pickleball player, medaling for the first time in 2016 with partner Catherine Parenteau in the 19+ division at the US Open. Like many pro pickleball players, Joey comes from a tennis background, and has locked in several notable tennis wins during his career, beating Juan Martin Del Potro and John Isner. Joey has also found success in pickleball, breaking into the top 15 players on the APP and medaling with partner Ben Johns in the 2017 US Open. 

Joey doesn’t just play pickleball, but also spends much of his week growing the sport while running a large pickleball program in Florida. Whether teaching and helping grow the sport, or battling top players on the pro tour, Joey Farias has established himself as a strong figure in the sport of pickleball.
