Perhaps the biggest news in the history of pickleball - JOOLA Pickleball has inked one of the most impressive contracts to date, signing Ben Johns to a lifetime contract. The terms of this undoubtedly lucrative deal aren’t public, but if our instincts are right, Ben won’t have to worry about finding a ‘day job’ after his playing days are over! The long-term deal comes on the same day that JOOLA released their second generation of the Ben Johns Signature pickleball paddle, the Perseus.
Keeping the big news rolling, JOOLA also turned heads by announcing that they signed Collin Johns, the #1 ranked men’s doubles player in the world and brother to Ben. With this, JOOLA scoops up half of the best men’s doubles team on the planet away from Electrum, which had Collin under contract since making his mark on the pro pickleball scene.
